Hello people,
I have written a customer membership provider, which I hope to have on my site soon.
Is there anything wrong with storing the user GUID in a session variable, so I dont have to keep going to the DB.
I am asking this from a security point of view rather than a coding one. To me it seems safe enough in theory.
Also are the session variables reliable, when I was doing this on ASP they seem to disappeard before the user had finished.
