Let's say I have a link somewhere - - http://mysite.com/mysite.aspx#lists
But - to get there, the user is redirected to the signin page. theoretically, the full url should be saved - once logged in, it should redirect to the page and then the anchor within the page.
When you see the returnURL in the address bar, the anchor tag part is not there, so it doesn't get utilized.
However, what is happening on our site is that the anchor is getting stripped and you just get redirected to the top of the page. It's a very intense site and I haven't created it from the ground up, so I am not even sure what to look for. Apparently, if there's a querystring, it's NOT stripped, and it works find.
any ideas?
