Hello all, i have a small daterange problem
i have a datarange stored in a Database, say, for exampl
Start: 6-21-2010
End: 6-26-2010
This is the date range a machine is on schedule.
it has worktime between 7:00:00 AM and 04:30:00 PM
What i need to do, is to count the time (in minutes) that the machine is working based on another daterange given by user input.
For example, user gives date range 6-22-2010 3:00 PM to 6:23-2010 8:00:00 AM
and i need it to only count 90 minutes for the worktime left on the 22nd, and 60 more minutes for the time on the 23rd, for a total of 150 minutes...
The way i had it, would not take into account the times the machine was off schedule, because i had my initial date range as 6-22-2010 07:00:00 AM to 6-26-2010 04:30:00 PM, w ...
