Does anyone know how to display special characters from ISO-8559-1 properly in UTF-8? I'm having a problem with data imported from another webiste, and it would seem that only the PHP platform offers a solution for it. I've been compiling a data table (and function) of what I get and what it should properly display as on the fly, but this has been laborious and there are still quite a few characters to go. Ideally, I just want to finish the function below, but I need to see a COMPLETE translation table first.
