I currently have a site using ASP.net 3.5, accessing a SQL Server 2000 database. It is an internal departmental site that has not really needed any security until now. I will be moving the site to a new server and upgrading the database to SQL Server 2012.
I want to implement security at that point.
What would be my best option for implementing security? I know that is kind of vague but I am not sure where to start.
