Hi
I have a website with login for users. I want to have, in addition to the profiles, a database which can store more information and I thought it'd be nifty to use the unique member ID that is stored in the UserId field in the aspnet_Users table in the ASPNETDB.MDF
database, to uniquely identify the user with a single field. (Which user added a note for instance)
Does anyone know if there is some easy way to programatically get hold of this identifier for "this" logged in user? (Something like CurrentlyLoggedInMemberRequestingThisPage.UniqueID?)(alternatively I could have to use two database fields to identify him/her
(login and password or try to make a "unique" field in the Profile and match that against the other DB, but neither of these approaches seem reasonable)
Thank you :)
