Hey everyone. I've had a good look at some of the answers to this question already, and made good progress in understanding how this works and why. Its now a little bit too unique to be looked up. so I will need your help.

I have a dynamicaly created link button inside an asp:table, created in a sub being called if page isnt a postback
Obviously when i assign this line

AddHandler lbName.Click, AddressOf lbName_Click
This wont work, as the buttons properties get reset on postback. Correct?
So i placed the call to the sub in page_Init, and this worked fine. The only problem is, I have a button that re-executes that same sub, and causes the asp:table to double up and create itself again ( as if the sub is being called twice ).
How am I to get around this problem, so that any other buttons calling that sub, wont double up the asp:table at the same time as maintaining the buttons prop ...
