I would describe my fault lead to the impossible installation.
First of all, i have Sql Server 2008 RC1 installed on my computer. Then, i
installed Sql Server 2012 successfully.
But after that, i made a mistake that i really feel regret at this time: I
uninstalled Sql Server 2012 for the reason i couldn't connect to its default instance name, and try to reinstall it again.
Now the error that cannot understand appears when i run file name SQLEXPR32_x86_ENU.exe
to install:
"This SQL Server Setup media is not supported on a X86 system. To continue, run the SQL Server Setup media that matches your system."
I try many things to solve the problem such as update framework, clear registry, repair the SQL server 2008, but hopeless. Please help me reinstall it, and out of this insufferable point.
