Okay quick overview of what I'm doing. I'm attempting to add file collaboration to the intranet system I've developed for my company. Well the thing that caused the system they had bought prior to my starting that failed terribly is with the file manipulation you had to download the file, save it to your hard drive, edit the file, then upload it again... (they are used to having a network drive and abuse it horribly but it's only "a double click" away.
So what I want/need to do for this to survive and replace our horrible "Shared Drive" is a means of making it so when a user goes to open a file on the intranet instead of the whole download, etc, etc ,etc it opens the file directly from the network drive. That way when the user saves it also saves directly back to the network drive.
