Linq to sql - get foreign key table results by left join

Hi
I want to access results from two tables related with foreign key by using left join or using collection property.
My Current code to access first table is:
public List <User> Load(int uid) { TasksDataContext c = new TasksDataContext();
var userprof =from users in c.Users where users.UserID == uid select users;
return userprof.ToList();
}
I  have another table "Displaypics" with columns pickurl,UserID. UserID is the foreign key.
