I have a web service in a .asmx file local to my website. I invoke it from a .aspx webpage using a localhost web reference. This works fine on my development machine, but when I upload to a production host the invocation of the service generates an error
(HTTP 404 - not found). I am using VB.NET, targeting .NET 2.0. Here is code that illustrates the problem:
