I need a good example demonstrating how to post data from a login page to another url on another site, to perform the authentication. Once authentication has been completed, I need to post the results back to the requester page; login aspx, if the results
were that the user was successfully authenticated.
I found an example online that shows how to post data (http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/37539/Redirect-and-POST-in-ASP-NET); not sure if its the best example to follow,
but it is not clear to me how to return control/data back to the requester.
The reason I am doing this in the manner I am explaining is because I am upgrading an old VB project, that essentially put the task of evaluating user credentials to another web application. I need to still follow this pattern so that this web application
