I have a div defined on my aspx page with the style specified as ...
style="display:none; position: absolute; left:300px; top:100px; visibility:visible; background-color:white; z-index:1"
...and I want to change the display:none; to display:block; in the vb code behind.  I thought I would be able to access the div attributes doing something like...
divid.Style.Item("display")='block'
...but when I specify the divid in the code the editor flags it as an error indicating "divid is not declared.  It may be inaccessable due to its protection level".  I was expecting the editor to start providing options when I typed in divid. but it does not seem to recognize the divid in the aspx.
I'm a bit of a newbie so if the issue is trivial please excuse.  Can someone show me how I should be doing this?  Thanks Much, Roscoe
