I have been messing around with this all day and I can't believe this is such a problem. Simple in PHP.
I have a simple MVC 4 site controller action that does the following:
1). Copy an existing excel file with a new name.
2). Open that excel file for some basic editing.
3). Save and Close the file.
4). Upload the file to the user.
Everything works fine in Debug mode when I am tracing the code; however, when runing it normally I get the following error:
The process cannot access the file 'PathToFile.xlsx' because it is being used by another process.
I have tried using the IsFileLocked method looping till the file is able to be open but that just hangs on the Using and appears to fail.
Any help would be appreciated; however, it seams like such a simple thing.
