Greetings everyone,

I'm currently working on a crystal reports web portal and so far things are going really well. The Portal uses login and roles and access to reports is managed by roles. So now I would like to create an area on each department's home site, which has a tree view navigation with the available reports, that keeps track of, let's say, the top 5 used reports by user. Each report is embedded in its own page, which is based on a master page. Still with me? Good! I think I have a broad idea of how this could be achieved conceptually, but since I still consider myself a newbie to Visual Studio and asp.net, I'm not really sure how to get started. I guess I will have to track which pages the user visits the most, store that data in a database and then display it in a web form on the page. Sounds "easy" when I write it out, but not so easy when I try to do it. Does anyone have some resources, tutorials, or other valuable input they are will ...
