Form Validation Issue

Hello,
This was resolved however followed by another as discribed in my next post.
To set up..

I have created a User Control that will add various other validators by passing in certain parameters to streamline the process. The User Control works fine. 

Example: (Not actual code but similar)
<asp:input runat="server" id="inputField" />
<uc1:myvalidator runat="server" required=true regex="[a-zA-Z]" controlToValidate="inputField" group="fieldsetone" />

So essentially here it will add a required validator and an expression validator to validate the input field. All works fine, returning the errors as intended..
However when the form submits, the page will return as invalid, and I can't think of a reason why.

Is this a scope issue? or have I perhaps overlooked something?
