The site I am working on has a search page and the search is based on multipal dropdowns. The user can select one or more items to search by and they can select all items or they can select one or two. there are six all togeather also only one search button.
When the user comes to the search page each dropdown is showing --select-- as of right now I am using a if statement to test one dropdown to see if it is on --select-- but I am not sure how to test to see if the user has selected an item in the dropdown. The
idea is to let the user select an item from one dropdown or all the dropdowns but I am not sure how to test to see which dropdown items have been selected. Here is the code I have but like I said it is only testing the one dropdown item.
