I'm having trouble enabling client-side validation on a new WebForm 4.5 application. I'm using VS 2013 Preview and started with the Empty application template and enabled the WebForms and WebApi options.
Everything is working perfectly except for the fact that client-side validation is not happening. It always posts back to the server. Below is how the application is set up.
