I am trying to install the Contoso database on SQL server 2012 without success.
I have gone through the steps and have even watched a youtube video to make sure I am doing everythng correctly.
I have extracted the .bak and .abf files and copied to a relvant directory. I then select the restore option and go through the process of restoring the .bak file. It goes through the process, but then I get the message Restore of database 'ContosoRetailDW'
failed. The Contoso file does appear in the databases directory in Managment studio as Contoso (suspect) with the excamation triangle.
Also not sure if it is connected, but I cannot install the abf. file either as connect to analysis services is greyed out. Please advise.Thanks.
