Datalist and POs

I have coded a datalist with a checkbox for contract numbers. The layout appears below. I am trying to get a count of POs available for each contract number appearing in back of the contract number. The query to do that is no problem - it's just getting the value  to the right. I tried the ID column but it didn't work. Can you help? Thanks.
