I am developing a inhouse discussion board where everyuser is like #FirstnameLastname and user can simply put # and firstnamelastname to tag other user. What I am trying to do is everytime a comment is posted on board, I want to use a regular expression
to check every word with regular expression if its a username partter or not. (Something similar to facebook user tagging)
Can you please advise how do I do that ? or is there any other better way of doing this.
If its a username it will be changed into <a>#User</a>
