How to publish website

I want to publish website from VS2008. I have made publish website and unchecked "Allow this precompiled site to be updated". I have Custom Control, Local Resources and Global Resources. But when I publish website, I didn't find the Custom Control, Local Resource and Global Resources. I cannot run the application.
How can I do publish the website with Custom control, Local Resources and Global Resources?
What are the best way to publish website with steps?
Please help in urgent.
