I have written a basic invoicing app using Visual Studio 2010 Professional (Version 10.0.40219.1 SP1), .NET Framework 4, and SQL Server 2012 Developer, and am now figuring out how to deploy it (both the app and the database) to a desktop PC that has no SQL Server (of any type or version) on it (Note: both the development PC and the target PC are Win7)
The app doesn't use much in the way of any advanced features of SQL Server2012. It's basic T-SQL commands, stored procs, views, etc and a review of what SQL Server Express supports shows that should work for me and I already have a SQL Server 2012 Express LocalDB on my computer (I believe it was installed when I installed SQL Server 2012 Developer). However, my app uses reports developed with SSRS (Reporting Services) and from what I've read, SQL Server 2012 Express LocalDB does not support Reporting Services.

My first question: Is this correct? Is it true that LocalDB is not sufficient because my app won't ...

Go to the complete details ...
