SQL 2005 Reporting Services

I got sql server 2005 reporting services . I have developed a report project from visual studio 2005 . When i view it locally i.e from iis the reports show but i am unable to refrence it from outside the server. 
when i use localhost\reportserver it works but when i use servername\reportserver gives me 404 error.
Can any body help
