Pass dynamic data to jquery

   Following is my jquery code ..I want to pass items in basket dynamically to jquery using following format. How to do that?
   var items = new Array();     items.push({ sku: "[ITEM_SKU]", price: [ITEM_PRICE], quantity: [ITEM_QUANTITY] });
//Next Item
items.push({ sku: "[ITEM_SKU]", price: [ITEM_PRICE], quantity: [ITEM_QUANTITY] });
