I need to use a third party component called TallComponents to create thumbnail for document. TallComponents gives an example on how to generate the thumbnail from html input:
TallComponents.Web.PDF.Thumbnail.GetPageCount(postedFile.InputStream)
Well, I don't want user to browse for a file and click on some button to show the thumbnail, instead, I have files stored already somewhere on server and off course they will be read as a FileStream.
The component seems doesn't recognize FileStream and no thumbnail is generated.
I wonder if there is a way to convert FileStream to InputStream to fully meet the component's original requirement?
