I have custom code to manage "single sign on" in my application. During session_Start, I call System.Threading.Thread.CurrentPrincipal.Identity.Name, and retrieve its memberOf info from DirectoryServices for some checking.
The code is working fine all the while, however, when user move it to UAT server for some further testing, he faced few scenarios:
1. One of the user able to go thru everything without issue.
2. Another user failed to access, and the Identity.Name return wrong user name.
3. Another user just hit 404 file is not found error.
I checked, they are in the 2 difference AD groups, and both groups are grnarted permission to the webapp folder. The VD is already set to use Windows AUthentication, and anomynous is turned OFF
What could be the cause?
