Project is using Access database.
I have a gridview and for each row, i have a related records gridview. It does a sql statement for each row which runs very slow. I would rather have one sql statement get all the data. I've seen how to do this using sql server and oracle, but the syntax
doesn't work with Access. I'm not a sql guru so can someone help with this sql. I would rather have the related records as a comma separated string.
(Parent table) Courses: courseid, coursename
(Child table) Students: studentid, courseid, studentname
I would like this for each record:
CourseID
Course Name
Students
123
ASP.NET
John, Mary, Joseph
345
Jquery
George, Paul, Ringo
