Hi folks, have a website written according to HTML5/CSS3 with modernizr support for older browsers and using ASP.NET4/C#. Doctype declaration is html.
Site runs fine on every browser known to man - even Apple Safari and IE10 - EXCEPT IE11 where it fails to compile the Javascript generated even by ASP.NET (i.e. when i turn the script debugging on _doPostBack is the first function it complains about). If
I run in compatibility mode, no problems!
Installed the full Visual Studio 2010 IDE on a win8.1 machine to try and get an idea of what is going on but it runs fine!!
Any suggestions as to what is going on? I am wondering if there is an obselete Javascript function not compatible with IE11 that is causing the whole compile to fail but am not really sure how to approach this! Can probably grant temporary access to the
pilot version of the site to any hardcore developers out there that want to debug the actual pages in IE!
