I am facing the problem in conversion & transoformation of data from external sources like excel/csv/notepad fies into sqlserver database. Kindly suggest me what to do. I am using Asp.net, C# and sqserver 2008R2 as backend.
i.e for example, i am having one external excel file with 200 records with different field names. i need to insert these records into existing sqlserver table. for that purpose i need to do some conversion & transformation techniques prior to that.
conversion means : if excel file having country_name field, it shoud be match with sqserver
country table
is there any references & sample sites available, kindly let me know.
