I was working on adding a report to a project at work today and noticed that asp:literal was used all over the place. I know the difference between literal and label and when to use them but this new report got me thinking. If your not doing anything to
the literal in the code behind (i.e. not setting ANY properties in the .cs file) why would you use a literal with Text="" instead of just using plain text and typeing in what you want? I would think that using the literal would have a higher resoruce cost
then just typeing the text in. Thoughts?
