What is the easiest way to add values from item in a listview as it is bing loaded with the listviewItemEventArgas

I am trying to get totals for columns in a listview by adding items in colums as the listview is loaded with the ListViewItemEventArgs event as in
Protected Sub ListView_ItemDataBound(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As ListViewItemEventArgs) What is the best way of doing that?
