For any given version of sql express 2005 / 2008 etc. Is there any reason to match the management studio for the same version? or is it better just to go with the latest version of the management studio?
ex: installed 2005 express, should I install 2005 management studio or install 2008 management studio?
is the management studio patched independently? would using a different version mean 2 patch packages?
