i had sql server 2008 r2 before installed in my server.
it was a evaluation edition. it stopped working so i moved my backup to another server where i newly installed ms sql server 2008 r2 which is working fine. now i have to fix my previous server.
i uninstalled sql server 2008
and i tried to re install but when i run the setup. then the setup window appears normally and it starts the setup , it ask the key and it install necessary files after that setup windows gets disappear and I'm unable to find the setup window again i mean its
totally vanished.
and setup is not moving further than that step.
what can be the possible reason for it ??
