I have written my own code to scramble a password and I have confirmed it works. My issue is how to pass the scramble code to the stored procedure. Here is part of my code: Dim i As Integer Dim txt As String Dim ltr As String For i = 1 To Len(TextBox1.Text) ltr= Mid(TextBox1.Text, i, 1) Select Case ltr Case "A" txt= txt & "C" Case "B" txt= txt & "K" Case "C" txt= txt & "R" Case "D" txt= txt & "M" and so on . . . . . . . . So I have a btnAdd_Click event with connectionstring and objConnect.Open(). Dim username, password as string username = txtUsername.text password = txtPassword.text dim command as sqlcommand = New SqlCommand("dbo.sp_password", objConnect) command.commandtype = data.commandtype.storedprocedure command.parameters.add(New SqlParameterr("@username", username)) command.parameters.add(New SqlParameterr("@password", password)) command.executen ...
