Is there a way (from the web-browser) to direct a URL path to a specific page (or to use the information from the URL to programmically show something on a single form WebForm page?
In other words, I would like to (inside the code) detect if the user has put a certain string in the URL and utilize that string for filling in a textbox, or show a certain thing on the page.
Such as if my web-page was: www.myPage.com, but the user could put in
www.myPage.com/getPage1 and it would make Page1.visable=True or something that the code could process, or maybe even
www.myPage.com/textbox1=HelloWorld and I could code it to accept the parameter to fill textbox1?
Does anyone know how to do this with WebForms using Visual Studios VB.net - ASP.net?
Any ideas or help ...
