half of web pages won't load when deployed on server http error 500.24

About half of my web pages will not load when I deploy the application on a windows server 2008 R2 machine. The application works fine on the development machine both in VS20012 and when deployed through IIS on the development machine (windows 7 OS). For detailed errors I get Module, Configuration validation module, Begin request Page handlerpactory integrated 4.0, error code 0x80070032. In the web config file I have validationIntegrationModeConfiguration set to false. Any ideas? ...
