how to control and maintain div scrollbar

I have div, I using overflow:auto. Inside div, I put updatepanel and gridview. So my div have scrollbar when gridview has a lot of data. On every gridview row, I use row select function using gridview onrow created event. The problem is, when I select grid row, row is selected, But div scrollbar automatically move to the top. Everytime I click on the row, scrollbar move to top. How can I control and maintain div scrollbar position? I also using jquery to make the scrollbar beautiful. Regard ...
