I would like to override textbox control with following behavior, but still not sure the possibility to implement it. Can anyone give me some ideas/suggestions and sample codings to do it?
Requirement:
1) Create custom validor next to textbox.
2) Has property to set "ToUpper" or "ToLower" function (when textbox control lose focus, auto uppercase or lowercase the wording).
3) Has property to set custom validor method.
4) If custom validor find error, stop form submission and show error when the textbox lose focus.
5) Can support date range checking, two textbox (start date and end date) with one custom validor.
6) Has a button to pop-up a windows (for searching record from database) to fill searched string in textbox.
Hopefully this control can be defined as .cs file, not .ascx file (User Control).
