Changing Headers of the Page while printing

Hi,
Hoping to get some assistance on this matter. I'm creating these reports that need a header for each page when printed out, but the header text needs to be changed right after the first print page as a mandatory requirement. I've tried using <thead> but I could never find a way to change it after the first print page. I was hoping there may be a solution in CSS,JQuery, or anything else that may help.
