I have searched the boards and the web, but have still not found a solution (if one exists). I recieved the warning message in this thread subject from a stored procedure that has a view with these types of aggregations for each month and each day of the week:
SUM(CASE WHEN MONTH(vc.ServiceDate) = 9 THEN COALESCE(vc.EncQuantity,0) ELSE 0 END) The view within the stored procedure uses 4 part names from the linked server (and my server). When I set ANSI_WARNINGS OFF (which many have suggested) i receive this message: "heterogeneous queries require the ansi_nulls and ansi_warnings options to be set for the connection. this ensures consistent query semantics. enable these options and then reissue your query". I want to suppress the ansi warning message because it is included in my text files when i use the export wizard. Does anyoe have experience with both of these messages? Thank you.
