DropDownList control in FormView

Not sure if there is a way to make it works:
I have a FormView(SqlDataSource), inside FormView, I have two dropDownLists in the EditItemTemplate and InsertItemTemplate which are two fields of a DataBase table I want to display in the FormView. The values in these two fields are not unique. therefore I use different SQLdataSource(SqlDataSource1 and SqlDataSource2 for DropDownList1 and 2 respectively) to bind it in the dropdownlists so that it will be unique in the lists
Because they use the different SqlDataSources, When I click the pageindex inthe formView, these two fields will not change.
Question1: Is there a way to make them change when FormView pageindex change so the value match the database field value?
Question2: If I want to insert new records, How can get selected values form the dropdownlists so I can insert them into database table?
I am new in ASP and please give me some guideline.
