PageMethod or call web service from visual studio 2003

Hi,
I am working with VS2003, i want to call code behind method from aspx page so that i am trying with pagemethod and webservice call from aspx (using jquery AJAX). my code is working with VS2010 but not working with VS2003.
Please advice me to solve my issue.
