Hi,
I need a console app to start a windows service without elevated rights, I can run my app as an administrator and it works.  The problem is non-admin users will have to run this as well.  I found a library in codeproject to impersonate an admin account and run my app under that context.  The problem is that our users do not necessarily belong to a domain.  (although they can be part of a workgroup).  As far as I know starting/stopping a service without admin rights is NOT possible , am I wrong here?  Otherwise viruses could have exploited this.  What other alternatives do I have to start a windows service with a regular User account (Non-Admin and also not part of a domain).  Help! Arghh.
