Call gridview's row data bound event in a page from another page in ASP.NET

Friends, please help me out in this..... I have 2 pages say HomePage and DetailsPage. In HomePage there is a gridview control which displays some data, and a button control(say btnShow). When the btnShow is clicked, the DetailsPage is shown (with a button (say btnSave) and some other controls), while the HomePage is left open. Now, after doing some operations in DetailsPage the datatable to which the gridview is binded is updated. Now, when i click the btnSave, the data in the gridview(in HomePage) has to be updated and must be displayed in exactly the same window that is kept opened. For this I hope, I should call the gridview's row databound event from the btnSave's click event. How can i do this......? Please help ...
