Need Distinct projected record set

Dim ChartOverTimeresults As List(Of Object) = HelperItem.getChartOverTimeForTrackingPublic("sp_GetDataForChartOverTime", internal_id, -1).Skip(1).ToList()  I have ChartOverTimeresults result set (List(Of Object)) when  I am firing following linq query 
Dim ListofInternalids = (From k As Object In ChartOverTimeresults Select New With {.InalId = Convert.ToString(k(0)), .IndiId = Convert.ToString(k(1)), .measureiId = Convert.ToString(k(7))}).ToList() Dim distListofInternalids = ListofInternalids.Distinct()

The result set i am geating is as it is the  ChartOverTimeresults set not the distinct..
