How do I check to see if Request.UrlReferrer.AbsoluteUri exists or not

I am getting the referring url by using
Request.UrlReferrer.AbsoluteUri
It works fine, but if there isn't one, I get an error. How do i find out of
Request.UrlReferrer.AbsoluteUri
