This is probably a common question, but I'm struggling to describe it to the search engine.
I have three tables in my SQL Server database, users, products and purchases. If I'm logged in as one of the users and I'm displaying the products in a DataList, what options would there be for adding a button next to each product on the DataList that would
add a purchase from the logged in user and the selected product ID?
I already had to write a function for selecting items by user ID on the basket page, so I imagine I'd have to do the same thing here. In that case I might as well just include the insert purchase code in the function, but I figured I should be aware of
other ways as well if there are any.
