I want to create a website that would post some previous presentations. The purpose would be to allow members that missed the meeting to view the presentation afterwards.
This would not be high volume. Possibly 10-20 people would view it.
The presentations would be about 20-30 minutes long. Originally tape with a camcorder and then converted to a suitable format for the website.
I am confortable writing a Web.Forms.Application but would consider a Silverlight program as well.
So my questions is -- In order to have the presentation play smoothly, do I need a hosting site that has IIS Smooth Serving or can I get away with shared hosting (my lower cost). Is there a media player that will control the speed of the presentation so
that it is not constantly stopping (the player keeps getting ahead of the media content coming from the server to the browser).
Thanks, John
