I'm trying to create an interface with filters - you know, select a filter, add it, another 'blank' filter box shows up and you can fill in that one and add another filter and so on. The problem I'm having is the new filter doesn't show up until two postbacks later. I'm adding it in an event, so I think that's the problem. What is bugging me is, do I have to refresh the whole damn page to get the new filter to show up? I have read everything I could find on Google (and SO and here) about this and I know you can't bind events after Page_load and that kind of thing, and I know events are fired after page_load. IF you have good articles to post, go ahead, but I've probably already read it.
SOOO... How do I get my user control to show up when it's loaded IN an event! It also needs to have an event bound. I can post code, but there's a lot of it so I'm not sure what might be helpful. Here's the main part of it... this is the control that holds the other ones.
